What is Male Call?
Male Call is a gathering of men who share the following goals:
- Growing my faith in Christ
- Building relationships with other Christian men
- Creating accountability to people that I trust and have a relationship
with
- Fill the need that I have to share my struggles and receive council
to be better prepared to deal with temptations I face—becoming
a brother with another Christian man (beside me on the path)
- Becoming a father to another Christian man (ahead of me on the path)
- Sharing my faith with other men
The name is a play on words referring both to God’s unique calling
to men and the picture of a military “mail call” where the
soldiers are gathered anxiously awaiting the next letter from home. At
Male Call, we will read God’s letters to us.
What happens at Male Call?
We gather at 6:00 am each Friday morning in the fellowship hall at Christ
Community Covenant Church (4Cs). The schedule is as follows:
6:00– 6:05 am Coffee/Juice and donuts provided
6:05 am Opening prayer
6:05– 6:25 am Teaching time
6:25– 7:00 am Small group interaction and prayer
7:00 am Closing prayer and off to work
How do I get involved?
Just come. Registration is $20 for each half year and is payable when
you come. But, come try us out first—grab coffee and a donut and
sit at any table. You do not have to be a member of 4Cs or even attend
4Cs.
What if I miss a session?
Travel is a part of business life. Early in 2007 you will find the weekly
notes and be able to download the teaching to stay current.
